Magnolia Fly Fishers is made up of anglers in central Mississippi who are interested in various aspects of fresh and saltwater fly-fishing. Formed in 2001, our organization makes it possible for fly fishers to come together and teach others about our sport, to learn from each other, and to support responsible conservation and management of the fisheries resource and its habitat.

MEETINGS

 See our Calendar for the next meeting date. Monthly meetings are held at 6:30 PM at the Bass Pro Shop in Pearl. The meeting nights have been assigned by Bass Pro and are not necessarily on Tuesday nights, please check the web page and email for last minute meeting information. Meetings are normally held in the large conference room of Bass Pro (2nd floor behind footwear).

GRAND ISLE WEEKEND!

 Polish that pirogue and sharpen those hooks for "GI Weekend". We gonna ketch all da fish in da OCEAN! (June 28,29,30). Hosted by the Red Stick Fly Fishers of Baton Rouge, clubs in MS and LA are invited to come down for fishn' and eatn'! Surf fishing, marsh fishing, heck rent a charter and go blue water fishing, or paddle your pirogue out to the pass to "ride a bull", it's all there and it's a tradition of more than ten years with the Magnolia Fly Fishers to go fish with our many friends in the LA clubs. If you want to learn about saltwater fishing or see a lot of marsh puddle boats, this is the place to be.

The FFF ClubWire Newsletters and the Gulf Coast Council (FFF) Newsletters are a great source of info. The Magnolia Fly Fishers is an affiliate club of the FFF. Individual membership to the FFF is not required to be a member of Magnolia Fly Fishers, but many members do so for the benefits provided by individual membership to the FFF.
